2018 Sydney Adventist Hospital Medical School of the University of Sydney Graduations
Senior Lecturer & Coordinator Perinatal and Women’s Health of the Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School of the University of Sydney Nancy Parsons has reported on the 2018 Graduation of students after their 4 years of study.
The Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School was delighted to host a Graduation dinner for medical students completing their medical degree in 2018. This now traditional annual event was again a wonderful opportunity for the students, their families and friends to celebrate their success.
Prizes were awarded to students with outstanding achievements and every student received a unique Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School medallion. Professor John Watson, Associate Dean and Head of Clinical School for seven and a half years was awarded a commemorative Clinical School medallion in recognition of his significant contribution to the Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School. This was presented by the Acting Head of Clinical School, Associate Professor Michael Hughes.
The following day the Clinical School staff attended the Graduation ceremony in The Great Hall at The University Of Sydney. This is a very special day for both staff and students. It was wonderful to witness our students’ faces full of pride and joy as they officially became doctors.
The Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School is now in its ninth year of operation and currently has around 120 medical students undertaking the medical program.
Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributes to the ongoing education of our medical students.
