Mass casualty trauma simulation at the San
The Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School conducted a successful mass casualty trauma simulation exercise
on-site on Wednesday May 9.
The simulation session was organised by Doctors from the Sydney Adventist Hospital Emergency Care Unit, and was designed for Registrars and the medica students from the Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School. There were also Registrars and nurses from Concord Hospital, San nurses from Emergency Care, and San Nursing Educators in attendance as well.
The scenario was a bomb blast, and the registrars were required to triage patients on the scene.
Those involved said it was a very successful day helping share and increase skills.
