Director of Support Services at the San contributes to Prize-winning Book 

Director of Support Services at the San, Nutritionist Carol Zeuschner has contributed to a book that won first prize at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2017 (in the sustainable food category).

Carol co-wrote a chapter in the book entitled ‘Impact of meat consumption on health and environmental sustainability’. Co-authors were Angela Saunders from Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing and Dr Kate Marsh from the Northside Nutrition Clinic.

Carol reports the chapter aims to show the health impacts of a high red meat diet and how it contributes to obesity, cancer, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 Diabetes and stroke.
